Research focus: My research is metabolic engineering: the application of chemical engineering, biochemistry, and molecular biology to analyze and redirect cellular metabolism. In particular, my lab uses an approach called metabolic flux analysis (MFA) to investigate research questions of relevance to medicine and biotechnology.
